Laurenta

Rogoznica — Central Dalmatia, Croatia

Ecological extra virgin olive oil from stone-terraced groves in Rogoznica, shaped by Adriatic exposure and structured Dalmatian varietal blends.

The Land

Laurenta olive groves are located near Rogoznica along the central Dalmatian coast, in an area defined by stone terraces, dry Mediterranean conditions, and constant Adriatic exposure. Spread across multiple micro-locations, cultivation takes place on rocky, limestone-rich soils that naturally limit yields while increasing concentration and aromatic intensity in the fruit.

Production follows ecological cultivation principles and relies on careful canopy management, natural climatic balance, and disciplined harvesting practices. Several groves contain mature olive trees more than 60 years old, while younger plantings contribute freshness and structural balance to the estate’s oils.

The combination of coastal exposure, limited rainfall, and mineral-rich terrain creates oils with pronounced Mediterranean character, persistent freshness, and strong varietal definition.

Ecological extra virgin olive oil
100% Oblica — the defining indigenous Dalmatian olive variety

Laurenta Oblica is shaped by ecological cultivation, Adriatic exposure, and early harvesting practices that preserve freshness, aromatic precision, and varietal clarity.

The variety is recognised for balanced Mediterranean fruit expression, pronounced green aromatics, structured bitterness, and persistent pungency. In the conditions of central Dalmatia, Oblica develops a more concentrated and expressive sensory profile while maintaining regional authenticity and balance.

The composition reflects a focused varietal identity built around a single harvest and a single variety.low-yield Mediterranean conditions, and selective harvesting practices. Particular attention is placed on early harvesting phases, where higher concentration, stronger structure, and more pronounced sensory definition are achieved.

In central Dalmatia, ecological olive cultivation requires a continuous balance between climate, terrain, and production discipline.

Harvesting is carried out manually and adapted to the conditions of each individual grove and harvest period.

Olives are collected carefully to minimise fruit damage and processed shortly after harvest using controlled cold extraction in order to preserve freshness, stability, and aromatic precision.

Production volumes remain limited due to ecological cultivation methods,
